Hi, I'm Emily Chromy — founder of Chromy's Canine Crew, proud dog mom, devoted human mom, and PetCo certified dog trainer.

With several years of hands-on experience in dog care and training, I've dedicated my life to understanding and nurturing the unique personalities of our four-legged companions. From energetic puppies to wise senior dogs, I've worked with them all.

My journey began with my two beloved senior rescue dogs, whose enduring spirits and unconditional love inspired me to extend that care to others in our community. Along the way, I discovered that many dogs struggle with issues like reactivity and separation anxiety—challenges I’ve faced firsthand.

Navigating these behaviors can feel overwhelming, but with the right support, progress is possible. That is why I’m passionate about helping other pet parents who might be going through the same thing, offering guidance, empathy, and care rooted in experience. This passion has also led me to pursue my path as an PetCo certified dog trainer, with the goal of continuing my education and expanding the ways I can support dogs and their families.

Next, meet Baila!

Baila (bye-la) is a 12 year old rescue mutt who is a mix of seven (Yes-7!) different breeds! She is my tricks dog and is currently working on Kiss, Middle, and Shed Hunting

Last, but not least, Arabella!

Arabella is also 12 and was the dog that inspired the trainer in me. She is a reactive rescue dog who happens to be a pure-breed Finnish Spitz. True to her Finkie nature, she is intelligent, vocal, and most importantly happy! Her latest tricks are shed Hunting and cleaning up after my kids.
